Look what came in the mail today!

Back in August Nolan did some modeling for the East Coast School which hosts photographic workshops for aspiring photographers from around the country. Jennifer George sent me this 8x10 of Nolan as a thank you for letting her photograph him to teach her class how to use natural lighting. I just love this picture, drool and all!

Baby Boo-runch

We started our day off at the Hicks' house for a Halloween brunch with the couples (babies included) that we met last winter during our lamaze classes. Six out of the eight couples were able to make it and it was great to see everyone and all the kiddos..gosh they are growing up so fast! Thanks to the Hicks for hosting the get together!!

All dressed up and ready to party!

"Hey Luke, this toy is pretty
cool, were'd you get it?"

Nolan and Braydon monkeying around!

Nolan had a blast but did begin to have a melt down once nap time neared. It tough being a 9 month old, lol.

Pumpkin Patch...

Yesterday Jim and I took Nolan to a pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. He had a blast checking out all the pumpkins and teething on them. He then discovered the grass and really enjoyed trying to eat it as well. The people that own the farm had 4 donkeys and Nolan talked to them like he does Riley. I think he thought they were just really big Rileys :) We had a great time and the weather held out so we were thankful! When we got home Nolan and Daddy carved pumpkins before bedtime. So sweet!

Our little pumpkin at the pumpkin patch

"Nobody told me pumpkins feel good on the gums!"

"What is this green stuff?"

Notice the donkey rolling around
like a dog in the background, lol!

"Mom and Dad, I'll take this one!"

Good luck Carolina Volleyball!!

Forgot to mention in my last post that my sister-in-law Kaylie plays volleyball for the UNC Tarheels!! She might be short but she's a fast little thing and leads the ACC in digs!

They have a match tonight at 7pm against Georgia Tech and I wanted to wish them luck!! We're hoping to make it to the match but 7pm is getting close to little man's bedtime so we'll see.

Good luck Auntie Kaylie...just do it!!

Let the Halloween festivities begin!

Tomorrow will be Nolan's first Halloween and I'm not sure who's more excited about it :) Yesterday his very first trick or treat bag arrived in the mail and I just think it's adorable. I ordered it from BumbleflyBaby. I have several of their products that I got as gifts and I just love everything they have to offer!

Like a good Mommy I got him the big kids bag and not the little 7x7 bag they offer for little ones. We all know a 9 month old needs plenty of room to hold their candy, right? Lol!

Though I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get any pictures of Nolan in his costume this is a picture off the web of his costume.

He decided the he wanted to be a little monkey because of the love he has for his little mokey that my dear friend Heather gave him.

We have a whole day of activities planned for tomorrow. To start things off we will be going over to The Hick's house for a Baby Boo-runch were we will get to see all the parents and babies from our lamaze class that we took last winter. Next I'm sure we will be taxiing our little mokey around to see his Grandparents and other family and friends before we head out with another couple in our neighborhood to take the kiddos trick-or-treating, or shall I say to have some adult time, beverages included! Should be a fun filled day!!

Decided to join the trend...

Don't ask what made me decide to create my own blog tonight but here it is. I love reading my good friend Nichole's blog and do so almost daily. I never thought I'd be able to figure this out or have time for it but I decided that it would be a good way for me to share life's happenings with my family and friends. So here have it, The Gibson 3! We'll see how this goes and if I can actually keep up, lol!
